Beginning his career in 2016 as an art director of investigative reporting, his work centers on the role imagery plays in shaping how stories are understood and experienced. Lucas has previously worked with The Intercept, Future PLC and DIS Magazine. Outside of work, he collaborates on visuals for creative projects, ferments produce from his garden and spends time outdoors.
