- After a three-month business development program with the Kaplan EdTech Accelerator, 11 startups had the the chance to pitch their ideas for improving education to a crowd of eager investors and education leaders.
- The Kaplan EdTech Accelerator was launched last year as a collaboration between Kaplan and Techstars, and it is currently the largest corporate-sponsored accelerator dedicated to education technology startups, according to Tech Cocktail NYC.
- Over the course of the three-month training, the chosen startups received $170,000 in investment capital and also got the opportunity to network and meet with Kaplan executives.
