This week also saw the release of a study revealing that, if current trends persist, some states may fully abandon support for higher ed within decades. News Corp's Amplify also unveiled a new digital curriculum for middle school students, and for-profit giant Apollo Education announced the launch of Balloon, a job-based course catalog that recommends MOOCs for required skills.
