On Monday, Blackboard heeded the call of students who over the weekend created what may be education's "ice bucket challenge" on Twitter. Those students, who tweeted at everyone from Ellen DeGeneres to President Barack Obama using the hashtag "#paymytuitionchallenge," now have the opportunity to earn scholarships from the learning management system provider. Meanwhile, the Ivy League schools found a ranking they couldn't quite measure up to in The Active Times' 50 Fittest Colleges, and California community colleges were granted permission to offer four-year degrees. Additionally, we took a closer look at a Form 8-K detailing Corinthian Colleges' laundry list of federal and legal scrutiny.
