More than 2,000 educators, researchers, ed tech leaders and more gathered in Orlando, Florida, Jan. 16-19 for the Council for Exceptional Children's Convention & Expo to discuss effective approaches for addressing COVID-19 learning loss, specific disability interventions, trauma-informed practices, staff recruitment and retention strategies, creating school settings for gifted and talented students, and much more. 

At the convention, CEC celebrated its 100th anniversary by recognizing past presidents of the organization and through a video of moments in the organization's history. The conference continues virtually Feb. 1-4.
