Dive Insight:
The latest offering by Cybrary is an attempt to bring more young people into the IT field with early training on topics like cryptography and ethical hacking. In a news release, Cybrary co-founder Ralph Sita Jr., said he expects his company to “reshape IT and cybersecurity training.” The latest Cybrary initiative is not about offering its own online courses, however, it is about creating a strong curriculum and then encouraging schools to offer it to their students with their own teacher involvement. Cybrary also offers online courses to adults and the general public. Its push into the traditional education sphere is a diversification of its mission.
