This week, Education Dive took a look at four English language learning tools for the classroom and also named eight K-12 tech tools to watch in 2015. Meanwhile, Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing unveiled a beta version of a textbook creator tool, allowing educators to create custom textbooks with multi-color highlighting, flashcards, terms that link to Wikipedia or dictionaries, and notebooks for saving passages or taking notes. MOOCs also once again captured headlines as a sexual harassment case involving a massive open online course offered by MIT raised questions as to who is liable in such a scenario.
