• Adobe Photoshop is now available on Chrome OS and Chrome for Windows, a feat that some claimed was impossible in the past and a sore spot for Google Chromebook users. 
• The beta streaming version of Photoshop for Chrome will be available first to Adobe education customers who have already paid for Creative Cloud subscriptions. 
• Unlike Photoshop of the past, nothing needs to be downloaded — everything is saved to a Google Drive.

Chrome's previous inability to use Photoshop and other complex apps was once a major downside for computers using the operating system. While that may not sound as necessary in the elementary grades, having basic Photoshop skills could be seen as a must for the high school grades. While students should have STEM skillls, basic design skills are also high in demand. Being able to teach Photoshop and Illustrator is a great plus for Chromebook-wielding schools.
