Dive Brief:

• Curriculum and professional development platform LearnZillion is calling on K-8 math teachers to apply for a spot on its 2015 DreamTeam.
• The company is extremely selective when it comes to choosing teachers for the team, which creates, curates,and shares Common Core resources for classroom use. Of 4,000 applicants for its 2014 team, only 5% made the cut.
• In all, 200 teachers will be selected and will attend LearnZillion's professional development event, TeachFest, with all expenses paid.

K-8 math teachers, academic coaches, and administrators who want to apply can do so on LearnZillion's site. A release from the company says applicants must have a desire to scale their impact on students beyond their schools, give and receive good critical feedback, take part in the challenging process of creating standards-aligned content, and join a national community committed to creating high-quality classroom resources. 

Part one of the two-part application must be submitted by Jan. 2015.
