Dive Brief:
- Edsby has integrated with Microsoft Office 365, giving authenticated users one-click access to its social-network-themed LMS.
- Teachers and students who are working together in Edsby can also now access documents from their Microsoft OneDrive file.
- The decision to integrate the two follows a growing trend for teachers and students to turn to the cloud for working on and storing documents and data.
Dive Insight:
In many ways, the integration with Edsby sounds similar to Google Classrooms, which makes working out of Google Docs in school not only easy but incredibly accessible.
"Using Microsoft Office in the classroom provides students with the tried and tested tools they need to help be successful today and in the future,” Marc Seaman, VP of Education with Microsoft Canada told eSchool News. “This is just one example of Microsoft’s commitment to helping our youth and educators do more and achieve more.”
