The app was developed in close collaboration with teachers, allowing them to communicate with students and parents without having to exchange phone numbers — something that could easily attract scrutiny. This most recent addition of Stamps (aside from the uses mentioned above) further clarifies communication by also allowing the recipient to easily indicate they've received a message or that they don't understand.
