• Skyward announced Tuesday that its Skyward Student Management Suite has been adopted by Tennessee's Franklin Special, Tipton County, and Sevier County school districts.
• Glowing customer references, ability to optimize student data and facilitate parent communication, and implementation support were cited by the districts as factors that played into the decision to use the student information and management system.
• The districts will begin using Skyward this fall, pushing the total number of districts served by Skyward in Tennessee beyond 45.

All-in-one platforms are a big deal in ed tech right now, and with tools that include assessments, textbook tracking, gradebooks, attendance, and report cards, as well as those that facilitate things like parental communication and required state reports, Skyward's Student Management Suite certainly capitalizes on that trend. The platform is currently used in over 1,700 schools around the world and is flexible enough to have been implemented on individual district or state levels, though it isn't without its fair share of competition from the likes of Engrade, newcomer Alma, and, of course, Blackboard — all of which have their own all-in-one student management solutions vying for a piece of the pie.
