After months of careful consideration, K-12 Dive is proud to announce the ninth annual K-12 Dive Awards.

In examining nominees for our 2024 district, superintendent and principal of the year, we spoke with education stakeholders and past honorees, and we revisited information gathered in our reporting on leading administrators and high-performing districts throughout the year. From there, we took a microscope to factors including student achievement, innovative school models, community engagement, and challenges overcome. With that information in hand, the K-12 Dive team made its final, albeit difficult, decision on the honorees you’ll read about below.

This year’s winners serve a variety of communities and student populations, but they share common themes of impact and excellence: a commitment to school culture and community, to innovation, and to wraparound services for students.
