- Online learning marketplace Udemy announced Wednesday that it had passed the 2-million-student mark.
- The company's student base grew 300% in the past year and hit its 1-million-student milestone only five months ago.
- Currently, Udemy offers over 13,000 courses from more than 7,000 experts, and its students are based in more than 200 countries. Just over 9,000 students enrolled in its courses per day in 2013.

This is great news for Udemy, which also recently launched an Android app to further expand its user base. We spoke with Udemy President and COO Dennis Yang about that new product at this year's CES. It's not hard to imagine that the company will continue, and likely exceed, its current rate of growth now that its marketplace is available on the most-adopted mobile platform in the world.
